U6P Spellcasting checklists
Written by Liora
Friday, 21 May 2010

When I started playing U6P, I had trouble remembering which vendor sold which spell, and when I was purchasing spells, I couldn't remember which spells I already had (such as higher level spells that I hadn't used yet)!  So I created a checklist to keep track of everything, which I've been finding pretty handy, and I thought I would share it. It also includes a list of reagents.

There are currently a couple of different versions available in the "U6P Mods & Info " section of Downloads:

  • Spellcasting Checklists - This is a NON-SPOILER version, and has been left blank so that you can record your own information about vendors, spell prices, and reagent prices.
  • Spellcasting Lists with Prices - there are still spaces to check off your spells as you buy them, but the prices and vendor information for spells and reagents have been filled in
I have also listed spell and reagent vendor prices on this site if you just want to check them or print a list for reference.

Lazarus forum has a new home
Written by Administrator

If you have been trying to access the Ultima V: Lazarus forum recently, you will probably know that, unfortunately, it has been unavailable for quite some time.  I heard rumours that they were trying to recover it, and hopefully get it back online, but sadly that was not to be.

But fear not!  The wonderful people at Project Britannia have agreed to host a new U5 Lazarus board , so you can still ask questions, seek information, and discuss anything to do with Lazarus.  Since the old board was unavailable, people had been asking lazarus questions there for quite some time, but a separate Lazarus board was officially created last week.

So, that also means that within the coming weeks, I will be fixing all the broken links on the site that point to the old forum.  I had been hoping beyond hope that the old forum would come back, so I had left the links as they were.

Changing your Goal in Wii Fit
Written by Administrator
Thursday, 04 March 2010

Wow, it's been ages since I updated this site.  We had a daughter 2 years ago (wow, 2 years already!!), so I've been a little busy!  There are many changes that need to be done, especially, as many have noticed, the Ultima V Lazarus forums seem to be down "for good"... at least for now (I'm hoping that at some point they will be restored).

Anyway, on to my "tip for today"!  I wanted to post this up, because I wasn't able to find it anywhere else: a "work-around" for changing your goal before your goal date in Wii fit.  So here's what I did:

1) when you do your Body test, place a weight that is much higher (if you accidentally set your goal to gain weight, and you don't want to... yeah I did that) or lower than your goal weight.  It will detect a large difference in weight, but just continue anyway.

2) once the body test is done, it should tell you that you've reached your goal ahead of time, and allow you to set a new goal (if your "fake weight" is low, set your goal to gain weight, and if it's high, set it to lose weight).

3) when you end the test, make sure you keep the changes and tell it to overwrite any previous data for that day if necessary.

4) then do the Body Test again, this time with yourself, as usual.

5) again, it will detect the weight change, but you should continue, and then as before it will say you've reached your goal, and you can set a new, real goal this time.

6) remember to keep the changes and overwrite the previous data.

That's it!  It's a little crude, but it works, and it beats waiting for your incorrect or unwanted goal to be up.

CAUTION!!

My first instinct was to set the Wii date ahead to my goal deadline, change the goal, and then set the date back again.  I have read that this can cause strange glitches with the Body Test, though, and may not work as you expect.

Fortunately, I didn't do that, so if you're thinking of trying it.. DON'T Smile
